The Firefighter Combat Challenge in Arlington was full of strength, brotherhood and fun. It was the longest day of racing for the 2015 season thus far, with 128 competitors. What made Arlington even more exciting was that the teams, families, and supporters could also catch a Texas Rangers game after the event. The winner of the individual competition was awarded the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the game. Ryan Fitzgerald (Mankato FD) won the individual competition but gave the distinction to a young boy. Corbin is the son of fellow Combat Challenge competitor – Adam Evans, and he is a very big fan of the Texas Rangers! We are excited to share this video with you and hope that you will smile just as we did watching this young boy get to live out a dream.
