The 2nd Annual Biking 4 Bears benefit ride was a great success. An amazing team effort made the event run smoothly and hundreds of stuffed animals being donated. The Mr. Restore team has already begun distributing them to local fire stations and firefighters will hand out the stuffed animals to comfort children. Months of planning and hard work were capped off by a great turnout for the ride that enjoyed wonderful riding weather. We could not have organized or staffed the event without the help of our entire Mr. Restore team and some great companies. Bicycles Plus of Flower Mound helped spread the word to riders and potential sponsors, in addition to hosting the start and finish line. Lifetime Fitness Flower Mound Cycling Club provided course support and ride leads. FCS Cycling helped us with other ride logistics and provided a trailer for the SAG and equipment moving. GS Tenzing helped mark the route. Jupiter House Coffee in Denton supported our halfway rest stop. Freebirds World Burrito in Lewisville provided burritos for a great end-of-ride lunch and Norandex Building Supply provided beverages. Start to finish we enjoyed a great event!
